Ribbon Mixer is a kind of machine for mixing materials, which can mix many kinds of materials to achieve a specific mixing ratio. The Ribbon Mixer consists of a mixing chamber composed of screw belt. Furthermore, support frames and drive mechanisms support the machine, which is composed of roller, bearing, support shaft, and support wheel, and the drive mechanism is composed of a motor, reducer, and transmission shaft. The working principle of the ribbon mixer is: first, the material moves inside the mixing chamber under the action of screw belt. Then due to the movement of the screw belt, mix the materials in the mixing chamber. Finally,  it achieves the purpose of mixing.

Structure and working process of Ribbon Mixer

Ribbon Mixer structure: It consists of a U-shaped container, screw belt mixing blades, and transmission parts; the U-shaped long-body cylinder structure ensures that the mixed materials (powder, semi-fluid) in the cylinder body of small resistance to movement.
Install positive and negative rotating screws on the same horizontal axis to form a low-power mixing environment. Spiral belt blades are generally in double or triple layers. The outer spiral gathers the material from both sides to the center, and the inner spiral gathers the material from the center on both sides. which can be used to form a vortex of the material in the flow. This speeds up the mixing speed and improves the mixing uniformity.
